L-Tek dance pad carpet spikes
prusaprinters

I recently got an L-Tek arcade-style dance pad for use with Stepmania. Unfortunately even with its weight and its nonslip underside it still slides around a bit on my carpet. So I made these carpet spikes to go under the corners.

v2 adds some nice rounded corners and makes it a full bracket that replaces the factory-installed ones. This improves the grip of the pad and prevents the corner brackets from getting compressed badly, but it also makes it a lot harder to move since you can't just slide the pad into place and then put the spikes underneath.

Print Settings

Printer:

Artillery Genius

Rafts:

Yes

Supports:

Yes

Resolution:

0.2

Infill:

20%

Filament:
Overture PETG
Clear

Notes:

It prints better if you rotate it to be spikes-down, which I didn't realize until it was too late.

Post-Printing =============
For version 1, just print four of them, and slip them under the corners of your pad.

For version 2, print four of them, and replace the existing corner brackets.

Category: Sport & Outdoors
