Custom crafted Sony NEX-5R specifically tailored to perfection. This design marks the 5th iteration, surpassing previous iterations in terms of functionality and precision. Although iteration #2 was already highly effective, I continued refining until achieving optimal results. Designed with seamless integration in mind, this L-plate is fully compatible with any Arca-Swiss style quick-release system. The precisely contoured anti-twist features perfectly complement the organic shape of the camera body, ensuring a snug fit that prevents twisting between the plate and camera. A captured ¼"-20 mounting screw threads directly into the tripod mounting socket on the camera body, providing a secure and sturdy connection. Additionally, three holes are available for 3 ¼"-20 brass threaded inserts, TriStar Industries H2520 x 364P, offering further customization options. To ensure effortless mounting and dismounting, I incorporated a MeFoto tripod screw with a hex head, making it easy to access the tool when needed. A conveniently embedded hex key allows for quick adjustments without needing additional tools. The camera L-plate features two dovetail mounting surfaces in the shape of an "L," one horizontal and one vertical, allowing for effortless setup changes between landscape and portrait orientations. Crafted from a single piece, this lightweight design boasts smooth rounded corners that provide a comfortable grip. Compared to similar aluminum L Plates by Really Right Stuff, I improved upon their design while also catering to a camera they don't support.
