L.L. Bean Mountain Light 3 Pole Repair Part

This is a custom replacement part for an L.L. Bean Mountain Light pole end that got busted during packing. My wife had a mishap with her tent, and I quickly designed this fix in Solidworks. I printed it out, and while it's not made from the same high-quality glass-reinforced injection-molded plastic as the original, it should get the job done. To be safe, print multiple copies and stash a few spares in your bag for future use. It's disappointing that vendors don't include a "missing part" equivalent with their products, like a spare button on a shirt.
