The case storage container is designed to hold several essential tools, including the L.E. Wilson case headspace gauges and a micrometer calibration block. A VCI rust inhibitor chip, such as Zerust or Flambeau, can also be stored in the container. The case storage areas are specifically sized to accommodate 3.5" (90mm) of case length, making it suitable for longer gauges like .338 LM. However, gauges from Lyman, Hornady, or Sheridan may not fit due to their larger diameter. If they do fit, it will likely be if they are 1" (25.4mm) in diameter or less. The storage container is designed to hold multiple gauges side by side, allowing for efficient use of space. For example, it can hold both 7.62x35 (300BLK/Whisper/.300-221FB) and 5.56x45 (5.56NATO/.223Rem) gauges. A perforated slot is provided to store the VCI chip, allowing for better airflow around the chip. However, leaving it open for extended periods may reduce its effectiveness.
