L-Cheapo RigidBot MK2 Mount
thingiverse
Here's the spun text: A Specialized Bracket for L-Cheapo Laser Cutter Tool on MK2 PCB Mounting Surface Laser mounting holes are spaced 25mm apart so it can directly install over the X-axis belt fastening bolts. Tested on IAP's single extruder carriage OEM version and also works well with dual-extruder carriage model as well. Update: 3 years have passed, it turned out printing this part in PLA is not an excellent idea because of slow deformation due to its weight. That's partly because design flaws are applying constant rotational force on screw holes... Must redesign and make it lighter. Be Aware: Note that the laser sits 87mm behind your nozzle so beam can hit far beyond your Y limit if you are careless, which could cut your Y belt or any cable under the printer bed (cable is a prime target). You should use a sacrificial surface between the printer bed and cutting area and that part must be more than 87 mm towards back on the Y-axis. Instructions A mesh version of the customized MK2 mount is also included, since the STL design by Spiritplumber has non-manifold issues preventing correct slicing process. The "L-Cheapo V2 RigidBot Mount" file name denotes it's a custom-built model for better compatibility with your L-Cheapo tool. Printed in PLA at .2mm layer height and 0.8 mm top-bottom surfaces (20% infill) for rock solid bottom plate which ensures maximum mount stability, comes from here. The mounting area is just 1.8 mm thick so it's not an issue using M3x8 bolts, however feel free to add longer ones if needed to be over-safe
