L brackets for connecting 2020 and 2040 profiles at a 90-degree angle are designed to ensure precise alignment. The L bracket parts feature slots that promote better alignment of the profiles, making them easier to connect. Chamfers have been added to make printing more forgiving when dealing with artifacts that could compromise alignment. A 0.5mm offset is built into the profile's side to provide clearance for stacking multiple brackets or accommodating objects placed alongside them. The L bracket parts can be printed with or without supports. The small pins used for aligning profiles may require support to achieve accurate results, but they can also be printed without it. However, omitting support may result in a slight droop on the first few layers of the pins, potentially causing alignment issues. The slopes inside the bracket are suitable for printing without support and produce excellent results. For optimal Z-axis size and reduced elephant foot effects, using rafts is recommended. If you don't experience these issues, feel free to print without rafts.
