Agustín Cárdenas Alfonso was born on April 10, 1927, in Matanzas, Cuba. He died on February 9, 2001, in Havana, Cuba. A Cuban sculptor, Agustín Cárdenas Alfonso worked within the Surrealist movement in Paris. His sculptures were influenced by Brâncuși, Henry Moore, and Jean Arp. Poet André Breton described his artistic hand as "efficient as a dragonfly." This object is part of "Scan The World". Scan The World is a non-profit initiative introduced by MyMiniFactory. Through this initiative, we are creating a digital archive of fully 3D printable sculptures, artworks and landmarks from across the globe for public access at no cost.
