The L-4 Grasshopper from HobbyKing is truly an incredible aircraft, flying with remarkable precision and agility! However, be warned that if you give this plane a rough landing, the mounting brackets on the landing gear are likely to shatter into pieces due to their fragile design. Alas, there are no spare parts available for these vulnerable components, so I was forced to take matters into my own hands and fabricate replacements. The tab-bracket hole requires manual drilling, but don't worry - I've included both 1mm and 2mm mounting bracket holes to ensure a snug fit with your spring's dimensions. As for Repetier's warnings about the manifold not being watertight, rest assured that it will still function perfectly well with slic3r. Despite printing with PLA, this landing gear is remarkably more robust than the original plastic panels, thanks to its 4mm depth and reinforced supports designed to withstand even the roughest landings. The printing process takes approximately 3 hours per side using a 0.2mm nozzle with 15% honeycomb on my delta printer; other printers may vary.
