This model is a highly detailed replica of the Lockheed L-188 Electra, built in November 2010 with near-scale accuracy and high-quality textures and materials. It features numerous exterior details such as animatable flaps, ailerons, rudder, elevators, and propellers, while the retractable landing gear allows for closed landing gear doors. This model represents an improvement over our previous version, with enhanced face smoothness, increased poly-count, and remodeled aircraft components, along with revamped materials. The interior includes detailed cockpit, cabin, and galley sections, featuring a 66-seat arrangement in the cabin and animated drop-down tables. Overhead racks, lavatory bulkheads, and doors are also included. The model is available in eight different formats and various airline liveries. First introduced in 1959, the Lockheed Electra was designed in the mid-1950s and served airlines until the mid-1970s before being sold to regional carriers, charter airlines, and cargo companies. These turboprop airliners could carry 66 passengers initially but later increased capacity to 99. Known for their economy and good safety record, they were powered by four Allison Turboprops and featured 13-foot diameter propellers, making them the fastest turboprop airliners ever flown and capable of beating jet airliner times on certain routes.
