The Kōfukuji Five Storied Pagoda is a temple located in Nara, Japan. It serves as the main temple of the Hossō school, one of the six schools of Nanto Shikō. The pagoda was originally built in 730 and stands at an impressive height of 50.8 meters. Over the years, it has suffered damage from fires, but a new version was constructed in 1426. Today, the temple is recognized as a cultural treasure and is listed on UNESCO's World Heritage Site list.
