A right radius from a Kākā, specimen number LB1584, resides within the Auckland War Memorial Museum's collections. A digital replica of this bone was created by Daniel Thomas at the Institute of Natural and Mathematical Sciences, Massey University, using an HP SLS-2 3D Scanner with HP 3D scan 5 software. Post-processing in Blender 2.74 resulted in precise dimensions: 4.3 x 7.4 x 59.5 mm for the bone's bounding box.
