KühlCase - A RAMPS Cable Management and Cooler Case (Hictop Prusa i3)
thingiverse
This design employs a "grip bar" to secure wires in place and prevent them from working loose within the RAMPS board, specifically utilizing the Hictop AS1552 board but likely adaptable for use with other boards as well. Print Settings Printer: Hictop Prusa i3 Aluminium Rafts: No Supports: Yes Resolution: 0.2 Infill: 25 Post-Printing What you will need: 19x 3M 12mm Bolts Optional Fan Speed Control: The fan here does not require full power, but running at full capacity can be quite loud. Adding approximately 150-50ohms of resistance for my fan (12v 0.1amps) to drop the voltage to 5-9v depending on preference is a viable option. BE CAREFUL THOUGH!!! Most common resistors have a 0.25 Watt rating, so you will need 0.5-1 Watt-rated resistance. For example, if you want 100 Ohms, use two 200 Ohm resistors in parallel to get 100 Ohms total split across two 0.25 Watt (0.5 Watt total) rated resistors.
