The Kärcher FC5 Hard Floor Cleaner has a weak drive unit that is bad designed - it breaks after some usage. The brushes stop spinning and it makes a strange noise because of the slipping belt. On my unit a tooth was broken off the pulley at the shaft where the brushes are mounted and that caused the belt to slip when pressure is applied. If the belt drive fails you can only get replacement for the belt but not the pulley. In case the pulley fails you have to buy a new unit. I designed this to be printed by sla printer (used formlabs form 3 but any other will work too) It is fitting perfectly and works very well. I hope other people can repair their units with this replacement.
