KZ650 Tank Mounts

I designed these custom tank mounts specifically for my 1977 Kawasaki KZ650 restoration project. The bike was in shambles, so I didn't even have the original rubber mounts to reference - just some precise measurements that guided my fabrication process. A tight fit on the frame necessitated careful sanding inside the mounts to ensure a snugger hold. My goal was clear: these mounts had to stay securely attached while removing the tank and remain quiet during rides.
