Sachsenhausen Concentration Camp was a notorious Nazi prison camp located on the outskirts of Oranienburg, Germany, just north of Berlin. Established in 1936 as a model concentration camp for the German Reich, it would eventually become one of the largest and most infamous camps in the entire network of Nazi concentration camps.
