Kyosho Ultima ST/RB Racing Sports rear brace installation is a straightforward process. The part is mounted between the gearbox and vertical support brace, effectively stiffening the chassis. This upgrade maintains the stock design elsewhere, with the exception of replacing the original receiver battery holder due to its poor design and incompatibility with 3D printing. It's unlikely that you'll find this specific part available for purchase, as I couldn't even locate a picture of it through Google searches. Older inventory is also not readily accessible. To secure your receiver battery wires, two small zip ties with a width of 2.5mm are required. The brace features slots for the cable ties and a groove for the wires to be seated in securely. Before printing this part, make sure to turn it 180 degrees on the slicer as the design file has the part inverted. To ensure optimal performance, avoid using PLA material due to its proximity to the carburetor, which operates in high heat conditions. A slightly modified but untested design version 1.1 is also available for download. This revised model features deeper grooves on the carburetor side, providing more space for the carb than the original design.
