I discovered that a couple of wires had snapped off the main MR-03VE control board after it happened for the second time. I set out to find a more reliable solution because the original factory design fails to provide any strain relief for the brushless (or brushed) motor wires, which causes them to flex and eventually break loose due to their thin diameter. A simple clamp will prevent motor wires from bending at the main PCB, ensuring they stay securely attached. Future designs might incorporate a tie-wrap holder on top to further secure the motor wire bundle but this current version is already effective. To assemble the clamp, you will need a single 2mm screw; a 2x4 would work fine too.
