Kyosho Mini-z brushless motor mount.
thingiverse
Recently, a fellow Thingiverse member asked me to share new images of my Mini-Z MR-01 brushless conversion. I decided to use an 8T pinion instead of the original 13T, which significantly improved acceleration. The setup includes an ESC (Turnigy TrackStar), 4 AAA stock batteries, OEM steering mechanics with a servo board from Hobbico CS-12, and HobbyKing's S2030-6570 Brushless Inrunner 6560kv motor. I had difficulty fitting the chassis, but hopefully, current electronics are smaller. The model was created using OpenScad with Slic3r settings of 4mm nozzle, 60mm travels, 2mm layer height, and no support material.
