The Kyosho Landjump Integra was a trailblazer, possibly the first-ever 4WD radio control car. Production kicked off in 1981 and the cars were constructed almost entirely from lightweight aluminum. Powered by a chain drive system, this behemoth of a model measured an impressive 1/8 scale. The heart of the vehicle was a potent .21 IC Nitro engine. Its advanced suspension system featured differentials at both front and rear, trailing front suspension, semi-trailing rear suspension, and a disk brake on the rear differential. Over time, finding spare parts has become increasingly challenging. The plastic boxes that housed the electronics are extremely rare. This scarcity prompted me to design and produce replica cases. Initially, I used vacuum forming techniques but have since modeled them using Fusion 360 software. For more information about my Kyosho Landjump project, visit Landjump.co.uk. In an effort to stay true to the originals while accommodating 3D printing limitations, I made only minor adjustments.
