Kyosho Fazer MK2 Shelf Queen Chassis - Preserve that sweet, sweet body
thingiverse
Hi guys, Ever had an RC car body that was so sweet you never ran it? Why have it sitting around or worse, have to adapt the chassis to put the sweet body shell back on just to show it off over the winter? Print up a cheap plastic chassis mock-up and have the best of both worlds. This is a mock chassis that you can use to spare the life of that sweet, sweet Kyosho Fazer muscle car body shell. Put the body and the stock wheels and tires onto this chassis and then pop it on the shelf where it will live on forever, and you can run that chassis as hard as you want with a cheapo body on it. The wheelbase of this chassis is adjustable so it will work with any touring car, but right now it only comes with hubs suitable for the Kyosho Fazer MK2. If there's enough interest I will probably make the bits and pieces that make this suitable for use with pretty much any touring car. I glued this together using hot glue and a bunch of the 4mm pin. I used two screws for the adjustable center section but that could easily be glued. The knuckles are also screwed and glued in place so that no upper arms etc. are needed. The stock Kyosho brake disk hubs and wheels screw into the stub shaft. Documentation coming soon. I hope assembly is pretty obvious from the picture of the 3D model. 2x SQ_Lower_Arm 2x SQ_Rail_1 1x SQ_Rail_2 4x SQ_Knuckle 4x SQ_Stub_Shaft 1x SQ_Rear_Shock_Mount 1x SQ_Front_Body_Mount 4x SQ_Body_Post 1x SQ_Rear_Post 1x SQ_Rear_Body_Mount 6x SQ_4mm_Pin 4x SQ_3mm_Pin or screws or pins for the knuckle to arm joints (same size as in the car) Wrench to drive or drive to wrench?
