Metal tracks, on the other hand, are a different story. Without center bands, they tend to fall into the gaps and get stuck fast. This clever mod solves that problem by adding a thin disk at the center of the metal tracks. It's a simple yet effective solution. For best results, print this mod with PETG or Nylon. These materials will give you a strong and durable finish. If your printer doesn't bridge well, you may need to add supports to prevent warping during printing. I've included the OpenSCAD file for anyone who wants to customize their sprocket mod even further. I've also provided the fixed Sprocket-Mod.STL file, which has had its holes removed so that it can be rendered in OpenSCAD without any issues.
