If you make one, be sure to post some pictures here while it's on your RC vehicle and maybe share some comments with pros and cons. The original blade of the vintage Kyosho blizzard is metal, but its design leaves much to be desired - it's too simple and straight, and the main issue is that it's not wide enough. The blade needs to be as wide or wider than the width over the tracks for optimal performance. This way, you can create a smooth path instead of just making a narrow track in between. Every year, a week or two before winter sports holiday, I recall my own words from the previous year: "Next year I'll make a nice blade." Unfortunately, it's taken me years to finally get around to doing so. At home, we rarely see any wet snow, so the only opportunity for me to drive it in the snow is during winter sports holiday. Last year, I needed some results, so I decided to print one on the spot. I quickly drew a model and printed it, but since my printer is too small to print it in one piece, I had to divide the blade into two sides. The open-top structure adds a bit of realism to the design, and it works fine for now. I also included some different attachment points for future modifications.
