Modification of Kyosho Blizzard EV. New power unit features enhanced reduction for improved control and reduced max speed. New front part designed for future evolutions. Requires 1 axis D 8mm L 60mm, steel or aluminum. Palier 22x8x6 can be replaced by ball bearings if not used. Lubrication is recommended instead. No support needed for printing. Hole diameter may need to be adjusted for your printer. Modification of a Blizzard EV. The motor and transmission have been revised with a more significant reduction, resulting in improved control but reduced speed. A complete block integrates the engine, transmission, receiver, and variator. Add an 8mm diameter axle 60mm long. My model is made of steel, but an aluminum tube should suffice. Also, provide M3 screws and nuts. A universal joint is added. The bearings' axes are made from 3mm PLA filament. Begin by assembling the bearing on one end with a piece of filament, then glue it to the perpendicular hole in the bearing using cyanoacrylate. Let it dry, then re-drill a 3mm hole through the "blocked" hole, assemble the second end, and glue the second axis to the cyanoacrylate. It's not easy to explain... It's non-dismountable, but it works. The direction and front part have also been redesigned to accommodate a shovel or drill in the future. Installation of a diff protection is included. Printed 22x8x6 bearings can be replaced by ball bearings for improved reliability. Don't forget to lubricate everything (holes are provided for this purpose), otherwise it will seize! Everything assembles using the existing holes on the original chassis. Functionality has been tested. All parts can be printed without support, but you may need to adjust certain hole diameters according to your printer's specifications. 17/01/2019 Minor modification of the 36-tooth gear: two bridging screws instead of one.
