Kyber Crystal Mold Assistant
thingiverse
This is designed for creating kyber crystal molds. Place the push pin into the cylinder hold. Apply tape to the base of the cylinder. This will be you point to hold the crystal. Using a small bit of sticky tack, you can adhere the crystal to this point and then pour in your silicone. When the silicone is cured, use the push pin to break the suction and slowly release the cured silicone model from the cylinder. The benefit of this is that the push pin creates a channel to your primary pouring point. You will have an easier path to pour your resin which then becomes an easier way to remove your new, custom crystal from the mold. While we no longer use this in our operations, this was a huge help in our early days. We offer this to the community in the hopes of inspiring and assisting young makers.
