Kwik Shop 32 oz Jug Lid

This is a lid designed to fit Kwik Shop Big Squeeze 32 oz Jugs from the early 1990s. These jugs remain my go-to choice for water every day, largely due to their convenience and the fact that they can be temporarily held with your teeth on the straw. The main reason I continue to use these jugs is this convenient feature. The bottles last indefinitely, but the lids are prone to breaking easily, especially when dropped accidentally. Depending on the impact, the lids may break into pieces. I had stockpiled a large collection of lids over time, but found myself down to my final one. To resolve this issue, I decided to print a new lid using PLA+ filament from eSun and was pleased with the results. Currently, I have only experimented with PLA+, but plan to try other types of filament in the future. Update 8/27/2019 - After further experimentation, I have discovered that TPU is my preferred choice for printing these lids. Its durability far surpasses any other type of filament I've tried. With TPU, I no longer worry about breaking my lids; instead, I'm concerned with finding ways to break them. I tested various brands, including Sainsmart and a couple of others, all of which produced satisfactory results. Update 01/11/2020 - I have since uploaded an updated version of the lid design that features reinforced straw and thicker (3mm) top for added durability.
