Kwawu Arm

There's an updated version of this arm available!!! Check out https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2841296 and https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2841281! This arm was designed for Kwawu John Mensah through e-NABLE Ghana, building on Christian Silva’s Flexi Arm 2 design. I've incorporated Steve Wood’s Flexi Hand fingers, but switched back to the original FlexyHand 2 fingers for easier printing and a more natural look. The fully enclosed fingers from Steve Wood's Flexy-Hand - Filaflex Remix also work great. I've made significant changes to simplify the build and print process. Key adjustments include including the whipple tree inside the palm and an adjustable cam in the elbow, which can be repositioned into four positions marked by notches. To adjust the closure rate of the fingers, simply slide the cam out a little, rotate it to the next position, and you're good to go! I've also redesigned the arm with two string bowden channels, one on each side of the elbow, allowing for separate control over thumb and finger closure rates. This creates various grip types. The model is designed as an adult size, with proportions tailored to fit an adult rather than a child. Unlike Flexy Arm 2, this version doesn't have a forearm cover, as Kwawu didn't want one. If you'd like a version with the cover, please leave a comment and I'll add it in a few weeks – Thingiverse is being uncooperative right now!
