KV-IV Fake Tank (1/100) This 1/100 scale version of the KV-IV Fake Tank is entirely fictional, built on the original model designed by Brian Fowler in 1997. It's not based on any real tank and was never intended to be taken seriously. However, it can be a fun project to work on and might even spark an interesting online discussion or serve as a humorous way to intimidate opponents. A word of caution: This model is massive and consists of numerous components, which will consume a significant amount of filament and time during the printing process. Like its original counterpart, this design combines parts from various tanks to create a unique vehicle. The KV-IV's hull is paired with turrets from the T60 and BT-7, along with the Katyusha. For optimal results, print gun barrels horizontally using the "touching build plate" support option in Cura. To assemble the model, you'll need one of each piece except for the deck turrets, which require four. You can also print as many stowage items as needed or use TigerAce's Stowage pack. If you're interested in adding an observation tower to your 1/56 scale version, you can scale down the original design to 56% size and attach it to the middle turret. This feature is entirely optional but provides the vehicle with the ability to hide behind a small Ural while still spotting targets for its weapons. Printing just the tower will take less time, but attaching it to the base plate might be more challenging. Alternatively, printing the "Tower with Turret" option will result in a more robust design, albeit one that takes longer to print. Good luck and happy printing! For some extra fun, I've created a stats sheet for Bolt Action.
