Kush-un(derneath) For Kush Onewheel Front Foot Pad
thingiverse
This lets you use a stock front footpad sensor under an unmodified kush foot pad on the front of a Onewheel plus. You can stick your sensor directly onto the metal plate underneath the footpad, and the kushun will add just enough spring to lift it when your foot is lifted off. This setup is experimental, so you should make a safety leash while testing this for at least 50 miles. If it's too sensitive, you can add 1/2 inch wide weather stripping foam on the edges or modify the heights of the outer perimeter of the source files. I trimmed my sensor to fit underneath the grip tape originally and then added packing tape around the edges to keep it sealed. It's stuck directly onto the metal plate on the front of the Onewheel. If you don't cut your sensor, you'll need to adjust the boundaries of the kushun. I'll have a Facebook post on the Onewheel owners group showing a demonstration of the kushun moving that you can use as a rough guide. Be sure to not tighten down the screws too tight, or it may cause the sensor to stay triggered. You can test the sensitivity by turning on your board and head/tail lights - while off the board, touch the sensor and the lights will turn brighter. They should dim after releasing.
