Kurtz the Educational Bird
prusaprinters

In a nutshell, this was inspired by the adorable bird mascots of an amazing, and barely pronounceable, educational YouTube channel, and modelled after a reference image by u/Raptoreye14.

Built in parts to allow limitless colour customisation, and a bit of posing. Your tolerances for the press-fit parts may vary, so I've included the original Blender model for your remixing pleasure. The .blend includes two scenes, one with the bird assembles and one with the parts broken down. Have fun!

Printing:

Only the head needs supports (only from the base plate). Everything else should print without them. Due to the small size of some parts, I recommend a 10mm brim and a slightly hotter bed (65C for PLA worked for me).

I used PLA at 0.10mm Quality setting.

Enjoy, and please make sure to share your own birds
