Kurt DX6 Vise Knob
thingiverse
We had a milling setup where it made sense to put the vise lengthwise in the x-axis. The handle ended up over the table and while it was still possible to crank on it with the regular handle, moving the jaw any appreciable distance felt like rowing a boat. It used a lot of arm and shoulder muscle. This knob to reduces the motion to just a twist of the wrist. It doesn't really speed up the process but it conserves energy. This was made for the KURT DX6 Crossover vise but should work on any vise with a 3/4" hex drive.
