KUMATY: Holiday Cocoa Bear
thingiverse
Happy Kumaty holiday bear enjoying some hot cocoa. The other bear carrying the tree is [thing:4646595](https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4646595). # Cocoa As an aside the only hot cocoa worth making is the [original recipe](https://www.hersheyland.com/recipes/hersheys-perfectly-chocolate-hot-cocoa.html) using Dutch Process cocoa. You should do this while it prints. # Design This is a remix of [thing:5139993](https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:5139993) by [matoska](https://www.thingiverse.com/matoska), which is actually a remix of one of the [Kumaty bears](https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4636296) originally designed by [takman29](https://www.thingiverse.com/takman29). I did quite a bit of hand-stitching and re-meshing in blender to clean up a number of imperfections on the model and clean for 3d printing. I believe matoska must have remixed it from something of unknown origin (Uruguay Oso) since there were odd booleans on the original `stl`. # Printing I printed this as a gargoyle for my fence outside so I scaled this close to max size for my MK3S+ (208mm). If you want to scale down to smallest printable I would try the original size of `56.5%`. I added paint-on supports in the model that worked well for me. I wasn't sure the small straw was going to print but it came out perfect. Wife used Tamiya paints for color.
