Kuma is a Japanese Tier IV cruiser, designed to be versatile as both a scout and a destroyer leader. With its increased displacement, upgraded firepower, and faster speed compared to earlier models, Kuma proved itself to be a formidable force on the seas. However, like many of its contemporaries, it had one major weakness - an inadequate anti-aircraft defense system that left it vulnerable to aerial attacks.
