I really enjoyed exploring the new zones and scenes added to World of Warcraft with the Battle for Azeroth expansion, so I set out to create something that could seamlessly fit into that new world: a treasure chest inspired by Kul Tiras ⚓️\nTake a look at the animation to uncover what treasure lies within ✨\nI collaborated on this project with Jordan Powers (@jordtron5000) and his "Aeon Core - Hero Prop Design and Texturing" Brushforge Gumroad tutorial, which taught me numerous techniques I'm eager to integrate into my workflow now as well.\nModeling, UV mapping & animation were completed in Maya, while the textures were hand-painted in 3DCoat & Photoshop.
