The training bokken is modeled after the "Ed Schempp style kukri", a knife invented by Ed Schempp for Spyderco. Featuring an ergonomic downward curving grip angle, this bokken facilitates a powerful forward thrust. A unique feature is its optional elastomer tip that reduces bruising during sparring. Additionally, the design includes a mold for creating a silicone tip.
