Kudo3D Bean Triple Tree
thingiverse
The Kudo3D Bean launch was a contentious event. To avoid delving too deeply into the details, I decided to address one glaring issue (in my opinion): the leveling mechanism. Initially, achieving perfect calibration with the original design was nearly impossible. After conducting some research, I came across tonycstech's Triple Tree assembly for the Wanhao D7 printer and decided to recreate it. Following several iterations, I finalized a version that requires 5 printed parts and utilizes common stock components: Wanhao D7 aluminum build plate + bolts 3 M5x50 hex bolts 3 M5 nuts 3 10x35x1 springs (I'm still unsure about the best option) The Fusion file is available for download in my gallery page for anyone interested. If you have a Bean, feel adventurous and want more from it (like slicing on the Rpi and printing as intended), check out the NanoBean FW I modified from the original. Nanobean FW I hope you appreciate my work!
