KTM Rear Frame Plug Fender Mount

KTM Rear Frame Plug Fender Mount

The rear fender on KTM XC, EXC, and XC-W motorcycles is secured to the frame by two screws. Rectangular tubes on the frame feature a plastic plug at one end with a threaded barrel for an M5 screw to be inserted. Unfortunately, my local dealer cannot obtain this part, and it's not available online anywhere. This replacement part fits perfectly, and it may also work on other KTM motorcycles or dirt bikes. However, I haven't tested it on any others since I only have a 2013 XC-W model. Please share your experiences in the comments to help others know if this works for their models. To install this part, you'll need an M5 metric nut that fits into the hex cutout on the plug using pliers. You can find these nuts at Home Depot or similar stores. Using a stainless steel nut is recommended for added durability, but any standard M5 nut will work in a pinch. When printing this part, make sure to use supports and 100% fill settings to ensure a strong and reliable attachment to the frame.
