KTM / Husqvarna / GasGas 690 / 701 / 700 Heated Grip Adapter Throttle Tube

This is an adapter for the cheap heated grips you can get for 10-15 $ on Aliexpress (see pic for model) to use them on pretty much any KTM/Husqvarna/GasGas with their ride by wire throttle. Print in a filament with good layer adhesion and 100% infill or you risk shearing off the tabs that engage with the throttle sensor. Unfortunately no pics from install but what you need to do is figure out a good position for the cable of the grip coming out. For me it worked out great with in front of the handlebar. Once you are set on a position slide on the adapter and mark the tube of the heated grip where the two tabs of the switchgear locate into and cut those out to allow for the housing to close around the grip. I used a soldering iron to melt the basic shape and a small file / scalpel to make it match to the adapter cutouts. This should become clear to you if you compare it to the original throttle tube. The adapter should also take out a bit of play in the throttle. If it is too tight just use a file/sanding paper to make it fit as you want.
