Gear lever rubber enhances grip between boot and lever, making gear shifts smoother with reduced likelihood of missing the gear. The rubber also safeguards boots from premature wear and tear. Constructed from durable TPU 95A, this rubber boot provides a snug fit with a wall thickness of 1.2mm. Initially, I encountered difficulties adjusting the gear lever due to its proximity to the chain. My bulky boots were unable to slide under the lever as intended. However, the addition of gear lever rubber significantly improved my shifting experience. This gear lever rubber is compatible with KTM 300 TPI '19 models and similar motorcycles.
