KTM Duke extra swing button

KTM Duke extra swing button

I've created an additional swing button, specifically designed for KTM Duke 125/390 models from 2016. This design takes into account the fact that these bikes no longer have a light switch and now feature a plastic cover instead. I've aimed to create a button that not only replaces this cover but also adds more functionality. For example, I use my swing buttons to operate an integrated gate remote control. My goal was to craft a button that seamlessly integrates with the rest of the bike's design. To achieve this, I spent considerable time refining the form of the swing button to match the style of other buttons on the bike. # Creation Guide: 1. First, you'll need to cut the plastic cover and attach it to the main part using superGlue, as shown in the pictures. 2. Next, glue two standard push buttons into place, just like I did in the pics. 3. Depending on your printer's quality and print settings, you might need to make a slight adjustment to the swing lever by sanding the end that presses the actual button with some sandpaper. 4. For the axis, I used a part of a 2mm drill (or possibly 1.5mm, I'm not entirely sure), but any size that fits should work fine. 5. Finally, solder the wires to the buttons and route them as needed. 6. If you want an extra touch, you can glue a piece of different colored plastic in the middle of the lever for a more polished look - check out the pics for inspiration.
