This is the ideal mount for attaching a Garmin Montana to a KTM 990 Adventure. The GPS unit fits perfectly above the speedometer, and a second bracket is necessary to secure it within the navigation pole. However, I still need to complete this task. In addition to the standard mount, you'll also require the Garmin Automotive or Bicycle Mount to ensure proper positioning. When it comes to 3D printing, I would suggest using a gyroid infill for optimal strength and stability. This design exhibits equal strength in all directions, but not every slicer can handle it. To enhance overall stability, I recommend adding three perimeters. Riding on a bike exposes the GPS unit to significant vibrations, so it's essential to choose a material that can withstand these forces. PETG is generally more stable than PLA when it comes to handling vibrations. I'd love to see a completed project and witness how this mount looks in action on a KTM 990 Adventure!
