KTM 2019 Airbox Mod
thingiverse
2019 KTM 300 XC (2-Stroke) owners are facing an issue with carburetor adjustments caused by inadequate airflow to the motor. They're looking for a straightforward way to modify the airbox without breaking the bank or requiring extensive DIY expertise. The goal is to complete this project in a short period of time at home. Four holes were drilled into the airbox, with two larger ones measuring 3/4" and two smaller ones measuring 9/16". Additionally, two 1/4" holes were drilled for securing open-cell foam from Home Depot onto the airbox cover. This modification aims to enhance airflow while maintaining a clean and tidy setup. The printable clip design is specifically tailored to press into a 1/4" hole. To install, simply drill a 1/4" hole, push the clip through the open-cell foam, and secure it in place with a lock. This straightforward solution effectively resolves the issue of inadequate airflow to the motor.
