St. Nicholas's Church is the crown jewel of the Lviv Museum of Folk Architecture and Culture, commonly referred to as Shevchenkivskyi Hay. This vintage tripartite timber church, surrounded by an old wooden fence, was relocated to Lviv from Kryvka village in Turkivskyi Raion back in 1930. It was first constructed by skilled Boiko carpenters in 1763. During the First World War, a shell crashed into the upper gallery of the church, causing significant damage.
