This mount is designed to fit snugly under a seat post clamp, accommodating a 30mm tube. I rely on my Krptonite Avenue R-19 as my go-to rear light for my fixie. The original mount for the Avenue R-19 held fast with an elastic band featuring holes that eventually started to tear. This mount is intended to be a speedy replacement for the original, so it's not expected to be flawless. Installing the mount on my bike is a nerve-wracking experience, as if it might snap in my hands at any moment. However, with a bit of muscle, it snaps into place securely. The mount remains firmly in position thanks to a single zip tie. I applied some electrical tape under the seat post clamp on my bike to prevent the mount from sliding around. The mount itself is rotated 15 degrees for optimal alignment with the seat post, ensuring the light shines parallel to the ground.
