The Krups KM785D50 has a coffee bean capacity of about 5oz. That is enough for a couple of pots. We buy beans in 5 pound bags, so pouring a small amount into the reservoir on top of the machine every day is a chore and prone to spillage. This extends the reservoir 120mm which brings capacity near two pounds. The bottom is a snug fit into the existing reservoir, and the top is a snug fit into the extension. It prints upside down so that the mating part can be supported during printing.
