I took on this personal project with a clear focus on mastering hard-surface modeling, aiming to recreate an existing firearm from scratch while honing my skills in advanced techniques. Launching into this endeavor back in late 2017, I embarked on a journey that would eventually lead me to revisit and complete the unfinished project years later. The initial modeling phase was carried out within Maya, with the final model then being imported into Unreal Engine for a rapid rendering process.
