About the Scene:The model captures the iconic moment from Hindu mythology when Lord Krishna, as a young boy, lifted the Govardhan Hill with his little finger to protect the villagers and cattle of Vrindavan from the wrath of Indra, the god of rain. The narrative, celebrated in the Bhagavata Purana, recounts how Krishna advised the villagers to worship the Govardhan Hill instead of Indra. Angered by their defiance, Indra unleashed a devastating storm. In response, Krishna raised the hill, providing a shelter for seven days and nights until the storm subsided. About The Model:The Mountain is suspended from the frame, they will both print together. The strings while supporting the mountain also give the illusion of rain. Print the Krishna and cows separately and just place it below the mountain. The model is designed with the strings deeply embedded into the hill and the frame, so the strings are very well supported!Due credit to @3DPrintBunny for popularising this format and to @Mels 3D for the tips. Many iconic scenes from Hindu mythology require floating or suspended figures and 3D printing with strings opens up a whole new medium to communicate that. Also included is another version where the hill is supported by a column! Printing Guide:Frame & Mountain:Layer Height: 0.2Infill 5-15%Flow Rate - 1.1 or 110%Wall generator- Arachne Figures:Organic/Tree Supports Look out for more string art soon! This model is made possible by the support of my Patrons on Patreon and MyMiniFactory, if you like this model, consider becoming a patron!
