Kress 1050 Tool Mount & Dust Shoe v2 (MPCNC)

Mount for Kress 1050 fits Kress 800 with no modifications needed - please confirm if anyone has tried it. The mount positions the Kress near the gantry and works flawlessly. Since the lower part of the mount is exposed to heat from the motor, I printed mine in PetG; PLA may also work but can't guarantee its effectiveness. ABS could be an alternative option. Download my updated F-ToolMount (MPCNC IE) here: http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1735865. This is a brand-new version of the Kress Mount, addressing some issues in the previous iteration (http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1735877). I aimed to create a more modular and affordable design. My goals for this updated version: - Easy access to the lock button - Integrated touch plate connection - Modular design - Reduced filament usage - Improved dust shoe with better visibility for mill bits - Easier printing on smaller machines - Optional dust shoe components: Tool Mount, Clamp for Kress (3D print), and Dust Shoe (3D print or mill with MPCNC) The mount uses M4 nuts and screws. For the Dust Shoe, you'll need 12 x 2mm magnets and a tube measuring 40mm x 60mm. If you like the Kress Mount, consider tipping the designer with a coffee or some filament; it takes a lot of time, filament, and acrylic to achieve optimal results. Print Settings: - Printer Brand: FlashForge - Printer Model: Finder - Rafts: No - Supports: No - Resolution: Any - Infill: 60% - Notes: Print at 3 perimeters Post-Printing Instructions: Kress Mount & Clamp - Assembly Drill all holes with a 4mm drill bit on the Kress Mount and Clamp, but avoid drilling the hole in the bottom of the Kress Mount. If you do, you may need to use larger screws for the Connection Layer. To assemble the Dust Shoe, first attach the Connection Layer to the foot of the Kress Mount using any 4 x 20mm screw. Mount the Kress Mount onto the MPCNC ToolMount and then attach the Clamp. If using a touch plate, place the cable end in the hole on the front (right side). Position the tool with the lock button over the hole for the touch plate connection. Dust Shoe Assembly Glue the magnets into place with super glue; ensure they're aligned consistently. When attaching the Brush Layer, glue one magnet above each of them to determine their orientation. Cut the PVC in the correct length and width (about 60mm). Cut the "brushes" to approximately 1cm wide and 4cm long. Wrap the cable ties around the PVC, securing it to the Brush Layer. Apply super glue to the sides of the Brush Layer and wrap the PVC with the magnets facing up and the PVC facing down. Attach a 40mm tube (about 60mm long) in the front hole of the Connection Layer. To prevent the layers from shifting sideways, screw a short 4mm x 15mm screw into the top of the Connection Layer or use the hole on the back of the Brush Layer if needed.
