KREQC: Kentucky's Rotationally Emulated Quantum Computer
thingiverse
KREQC, pronounced "creek," is a quantum computer from Kentucky that's Rotationally Emulated Quantum Computer. It's not particularly useful as a computing device, but it does provide a very visual explanation of how quantum computing works. It was created for [our group's research exhibit at the IEEE/ACM SC18 conference](http://aggregate.org/EXHIBITS/SC18/). [Here's a video](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1kfSMz1QrHk) showing it in action. See our [Instructable](https://www.instructables.com/id/KREQC-Kentuckys-Rotationally-Emulated-Quantum-Comp) for details on how it works and how to build it. You might also like our [qubit spinner keychain](https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3223353), which was also made for our SC18 research exhibit.
