Kreg R3 Dust Port

This is a vacuum adapter to suit the Kreg R3 pocket hole jig. It is designed to slide straight onto the kreg jig using the rails on the edge and it levers under the clamp disc so that it is secure. It doesn't impact the functionality of the jig in any way. The Vacuum attachment is 39mm, If you need and different size vac attachment it's a very simple thing to draw and print your required size - the screw holes are 4mm dia, 27mm apart for each side and the distance between the holes across the part is 45.3mm. Parts Required: 4 x 6G self tappers 9mm long. Two drops of CA glue for the rails (make sure you do a dry run before gluing to ensure you have the rails on the correct side and facing the correct direction to allow for a full range of timber sizes) Printing Notes: see the attached picture, I suggest printing the rails (smallest parts) on their ends so they are strongest. I used a 5mm brim, no supports for any parts. ABS @ 250 degrees C and the bed at 110 degrees C. Design Notes: I built this in a modular way so that the rails can be printed separately in the correct orientation for strength because they are so small. I chose to make the Vac port screwed so that the size can be changed easily if required. I intended to the the rails and the vac port to be glued in place once finalized.
