Install the “base” on the KREG lift with the router motor removed. After installing the KREG lift in the table, loosen the 4 mounting screws and lift the router motor up to accurately center the “base”. The “plate” is installed with the pins up. When the vacuum cleaner is in operation, the pins rest against the KREG Original Inserts and do not allow the “plate” to rise under the action of vacuum. ATTENTION! IMPORTANT! The height of the pins is designed specifically for the dimensions of the KREG Original Inserts.Use only Router motor (3.5 inch). The router motor (3.5") in the KREG router lift should be installed in such a way that, when fully lifted, the moving parts of the lift do not reach the “base”. Otherwise, the part will crush.P.S. Tested: Blind groove (all chips fall down) 10*10 about 2 meters long. This thing really works! Inside the router table (cabinet) there were only a few chips, and before there were "snowdrifts". Now you can even work in the bedroom!
